Hello

My dance journey began in Rochester, New York, where I first fell in love with movement and music. That passion led me to Shenandoah University in Winchester VA where I studies Dance Performane and education and performed with the Shenandoah Dance Ensemble in Ballet, Modern, Jazz and Tap.

For 15 years I served as the artistic director at The Blue Ridge Studio for The Performing Arts, where I had the privilege of teaching, choreographing for dancers across the region. My choreography has been featured throughout Winchester, Clarke County and Fredrick County. I have also taught at Harrisonburg Parks and Recreation Center and have created works for their company Blue Crew.

I believe in being a lifelong learner and continue to grow as an educator by attending professional development events such as the Dance Teacher Web conference and the Rhee Gold dance Life Teacher Conference. These experiences allow me to stay up to date with the latest teaching methods, choreography trends, and tools to support my students' growth in and out of the studio.

My dance experience includes international training in Spain with Estada International De Dansa and a performance tour In Russia, as well as attending the Jazz Dance World Congress for several summers.

Founding Energy Dance Center has been a dream come true. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where dancers can learn laugh and shine. I believe in the power of creativity, community and confidence-and I cant wait to dance with you!
